Stories and important up-dates on tree removal.
Three plots of woodland are up for sale in Lincolnshire, offering potential buyers the chance to get their own slice of idyllic forest life.
Investors have the opportunity to buy plots of woodland close to Cadney, in North Lincolnshire, close to the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The plots are all being advertised on the website Woodlands.co.uk, a sales platform for potential investors looking to pick up tracts of woodland to encourage conservation of the natural landscape.
The plots available, within Gilbertine Wood, Peacock Wood and Canons Wood, are of four acres, six acres, and six and two-thirds acres respectively. Prices range between £55,000 and £85,000.
The land comes with restrictions including, according to Woodlands.co.uk, a “covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of adjoining woodlands and meadows”.
The woodland boasts a wide range of tree species, including ash, alder, guelder rose and hawthorn, willow, and sycamore, and wild animals including foxes, hares, wood pigeons and even roe deer.
The website, a family run business, was established to enable private investors to buy tracts of woodland for leisure and holiday use, to preserve forestry for the future, and encourage private individuals to engage in tree-planting.
